Founder's story
In 1963 Grandpa Po wanted to create a nutritional snack food as an alternative to candy and junk food for his six children. Po experimented with popcorn and invented a unique golden half-popped nugget. He mixed in soybeans for added nutrition, decades before they were popular, sprinkled them lightly with sea salt ("slightly unsalted" as Po prefers) and Grandpa Po's Originals were born. We felt it was time to share his creation with you and your kids.
Our mission
Grandpa Po lived by a simple motto "Others." We at Nutra Nuts, Inc. live by the same motto.
We keep others in mind when we produce our Grandpa Po's Originals using the finest organic and/or all natural ingredients, free of preservatives, additives or anything artificial.

We produce Grandpa Po's Originals by hand and in small batches with the same love and care my father used when he made them in our kitchen back in 1963.
