All things share the same breath - the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports. The earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth. This we know. All things are connected like blood which unites one family. All things are connected. -Chief Seattle

I happen to travel quite a bit, and until recently thought I had travel prep and packing performance down cold. Then, I found Mighty Girl Maggie Mason's expert packing list and realized even super travelers can use reminders for things to do before leaving like backing up computers and having mail delivery put on hold. The packing portion of Maggie's list breaks things down into bag categories (back pack, purse, diaper bag etc.) and while we could all probably personalize a list of our own - I think I'll just use hers to highlight some great WorldofGood.com items that are sure to make any trip one to remember.

First off - you need some quality bags:

This eco friendly hemp pack is made in Romania by Ecolution - a company committed to production processes that are people positive and sweat-shop free. An added bonus? They avoid the harsh chemicals that many hemp products rely on,  and they are 100% vegan.

This small purse is a great option for a travel wallet come trendy clutch for your first night out on the road. Stash your lip gloss, airborne and eye drops for the plane - then trade them out for your cell phone and hotel key. Made from recycled rice sacks, it's even water resistent in case the weather doesn't cooperate with your vacation plans!

Now, it's time to stay comfortable...

I'm always amazed and how quickly the drying effects of flying set in, but with proper planning you can kiss those parched lips goodbye. This luxurious shea butter lip balm is preservative and cruelty free - and with a hint of natural berry flavor it's a great way to ward off the after effects of airplane food!

I have to admit, airplane food is getting better - but I can't say it's worth what they're starting to charge for it! I prefer to bring my own snacks, and these organic chocolate snack boxes are great for road trips too.

Two Truly Important Travel Toiletries

Ever take a trip and as soon as it comes time to relax you find yourself struggling with the latest bug? Vitamins should be a must on anyone's packing list. An added bonus with these: they are gluten and allergen free.

Even trips to the snow can result in monster sunburns if you're not careful. As winter trips call throw this great alcohol and paba-free natural sun protection stick in your bag (no threat of spill!) for full UVA/UVB protection.

Finally, don't forget planning for your pet if they're lucky enough to join the trip!

This travel dog bowl is collapsable and reusable, so fido's traveling footprint can be as green as yours is.

Happy travels everyone!
