I mentioned in my previous blog that I am in the process of assessing my life and day-to-day buying practices to make sure I am making informed, positive choices with how I use my spending power. It's nice that these days, consumers have so many options for buying responsibly. I love interior decorating and lovely things, and was pleased to see on a favorite website a list of environmentally friendly produced goods for in and around the home.
Some things are more practical than others - dish towels, wrapping paper etc. - others are simply beautiful objects to decorate your space. I think the artists and designers behind such things deserve some recognition for making sure their art is earth and user friendly - and kudos to Domino for highlighting sustainably produced goods on their site.

Thanks Megan! You're better than most ... how many people I know who are actively conscious of the things that they buy (or how much $ they spend), I can count on my hands. Worldofgood.com was ALSO featured in Domino Magazine in the DEc/Jan 2007 issue: http://www.originalgood.com/press/articles/dominomag-dec2006.jpg But that site you linked us to is great- I love the 'blossom creations' towels from that store in Australia. Thanks for adding your voice to the community... it's great to have you! :0) -Lauren
