On the 6th of December, Jute & Jackfruit is premiering its classy and chic line of designer clothing and accessories for the first time at an informal runway show, holiday wine and cheese event for your enjoyment! We will be at the Town Depot in Lexington Massachusetts, just outside Boston, with an army of products, food, wine, music and holiday fun! Save some of your holiday shopping for local, environmentally-friendly and thoughtful one-of-a-kind gifts. 

This event will be a holiday launch event for Jute & Jackfruit (just over 2 months old now!) as a sustainable and fair trade product seller and educator. We have chosen to align this event with the holiday season as it brings more people out, and ensures everyone is in the best of spirits. At the event, we will introduce the company and its mission as well as talk about each of the designers and products: what makes them green, sustainable and socially conscious.

We will also have merchandise on display and available for sale, such as our Nahui Ollin handbags, made from candy wrappers saved from the landfill and woven with traditional Mayan skill, our hand beaded Guatemalan jewelry, and a variety of organic clothing designers. In addition to the food, drink and live music, the night will include a fashion show showcasing several of our featured Eco-designers such as Kelly Lane, Feral Childe, and Indigenous Design, along with others. The event runs from 4 to 8 pm in the evening. Tickets are free but attendees are required to reserve them at least a day before hand so that we can make sure to have enough food and drink.
