Hey guys!! Just wondering if there are any other tea lovers out there that want to share their favorite fair trade organic teas with the world. I personally love Zhena's Gypsy Tea for the amazing flavors and the spirit behind the tea. Heres the link if anyones interested: http://www.gypsytea.com/Default.asp
Here in Viet Nam we have tea produced by Betterday (http://www.betterday.com.vn/flash/tea.htm). This is a certified Fairtrade product produced by traditional Vietnamese tea producers using traditional methods. A great product!!!
I like Choice Organic Teas - their fair trade teas can be found here: Choice Organic Fair Trade Teas. Their Jasmine Green Tea is divine. I appreciate little touches that show they are a very socially & environmentally conscious business, like how they tie their tags to the tea bags rather than stapling them to the string, which means you can compost the whole thing when you're done. And the tea bags are packaged in paper, not metal or plastic.
I'm also a big fan of Numi Tea - you can read about their "Communitea" initiatives here: Numi Tea Communitea. Their Aged Earl Grey has an exquisite taste that is unlike any other Earl Grey I've tried.
To really cut down on packaging waste, I order looseleaf tea in bulk. It also costs less. I just love when the ethical choice is also practical. In fact, I find that the ethical choice often does make the most sense. Those of us in the U.S. have just become used to a more mindless, wasteful way of living, but if we stopped for a second and thought about the impact of our decisions, we could re-train ourselves to make a habit of good choices.
While I am a World of Good, Inc. employee, these opinions are my own.

Yes and also TAZO puts out organic teas like Chai which are fabulous also. Organic is the way to ensure there will be a place for our kids.
There is a fantastic show put out with Bill Nye the Science guy called "Stuff Happens" I put it on for my 11 year old son and I instantly became fascinated and learned how ignorant I am as a consumer. Stuff that I thought was "helping" the planet in truth was really hurting it.
I recommend watching this and of course Ed Bagley's show....Life with Ed? if you really want to help your kids (and yourself) think green.
