I have come in contact with a number of these, but I feel many 'diamonds in the rough' often get lost in the Google search shuffle. Hi Julia - Here's a quick search you can do on WorldofGood.com that might help you find additional groups. If you start from the World Fair Trade Organization profile page, you'll find listings of all the products on the site verified by WFTO (worldofgood.ebay.com/trustprovider_name/...) Scroll down and look on the left column for the drop down menu titled "Region of Origin." Instead of selecting Asia, select the individual countries.
There are a few with a fairly large selection of products you might want to check out -- Bangladesh, Cambodia, India -- the listings of the individual products indicate the producer groups that work with the seller on our site. I'd be happy to connect you with these sellers, who then may subsequently be able to share information about their producer groups.
