Founder's story
Global Fayre is a Fair Trade retailer, located in the historic downtown area of Springfield, Missouri, USA.
Buying Fair Trade has always been important to us. After our youngest daughter was born, we wanted to find something that we could do together, something that we believed in and that would benefit the wider, global community. We also shared a love of artisan products from Asia, Africa and South America, and so it was a natural choice for us to launch Global Fayre, with the mission of bringing Fair Trade products to southwest Missouri.
Our mission
to promote the awareness of Fair Trade through the sale and distribution of products, through educational information promoting its core values, and through active involvement in the community.

It's not about charity; it's about helping people help themselves. It's about empowerment.

How we select what we sell
We make every effort to ensure the validity of every supplier and every product. Being a member of the Fair Trade Federation means that we are part of a close-knit network of like minded people and organizations.
What makes us unique
Having a bricks and mortar store as well as an online store gives us a great opportunity to talk with our customers directly, and to see how they react to our products. The products we have online are just a fraction of the ones that we have in the store - and all of them have been road-tested by many of our customers. They are all best-sellers, so you can be assured that you will be delighted with your product.

We have two wonderful daughters, and a scamp of a puppy who totally controls the house!
