Himalayan Youth Foundation
The Himalayan Youth Foundation was founded in 2002 by two people devoted to the people of the Himalayan region. Dedicated to educating poor children,the foundation has built the Kailash hostel near Kathmandu housing and providing 100 boys and girls with a free traditional education up through the Nepali standard 10th grade. In Bhutan, HYF assures the financing of the net operating costs of the Choki Traditional Art School (CTAS) and has financed the building of 6 new buildings for the school.
